  • Service Delivery: We may use and disclose your personal information to deliver programs and services to you, including EPIC Nourish (food access) and EPIC Shelter (housing assistance).
  • Donation Processing: We may use and disclose your personal information to process donations, issue tax receipts, and maintain donor records. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a trusted third-party payment processor.
  • Organizational Operations: We may use and disclose your personal information in connection with our organizational operations. Operations include volunteer coordination, quality assessment and improvement activities, program evaluation, training, accreditation, and reporting.
  • Business Associates: We will share your personal information with third-party "business associates" that perform various activities (e.g., payment processing, email communications, analytics) for the organization. Whenever an arrangement between our organization and a business associate involves the use or disclosure of your personal information, we will have a written contract that contains terms that will protect the privacy of your personal information.
  • Your Authorization: In addition to our use of your personal information for service delivery and operations, you may give us written authorization to use your personal information or to disclose it to anyone for any purpose. If you provide us with an authorization, you may revoke it in writing at any time. Your revocation will not affect any use or disclosures permitted by your authorization while it was in effect. Unless you give us a written authorization, we cannot use or disclose your personal information for any reason except those described in this Notice.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only shared with trusted service providers (such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers) for the sole purpose of delivering messages and maintaining system functionality. Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect your data.

We retain SMS-related data only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and maintain records of consent and opt-out requests.

Compliance

Our SMS program complies with applicable laws and regulations, including TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and carrier policies.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as program coordination, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
